Bring your cowboy hat and your best smile!

The Fonds Foyer Richelieu Welland is proud to announce the 15th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, taking place on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course.

Over the past 15 years, this event has raised more than $350,000 in support of our residents and the ongoing enhancement of care and services at Foyer Richelieu Welland. Funds raised this year will continue to help purchase essential equipment and support projects that improve the quality of life of those we serve every day.

This year’s tournament will feature a fun Wild West / Rodeo theme, so bring your cowboy hat, your best smile, and join us for a memorable day of golf, networking, great food, and community spirit.

Registration includes golf, cart, lunch, wine tasting, dinner, games, prizes, and more. Places are limited to 128 golfers, so we encourage everyone to register early.

The Fonds Foyer Richelieu is pleased to announce its annual golf tournament, to be held on Friday, June 9, 2025 at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course, 3290 Ninth St., St. Catharines, ON, L2R 6P7.

Funds raised at this event will enable us to purchase essential equipment for the Home. We are also preparing to move into our new building in the fall of 2025, and we need your help to make this transition a success.

The Rock-A-Thon will be held virtually this year! The main purpose of this Rock-A-Thon is to fundraise for Fonds Foyer Richelieu Welland in order to buy equipment to add to the quality to the life of our residents and have a great time doing this all together. A Rock-A-Thon is a marathon in which teams rock in rocking chairs, socialize and have fun together.

The residents, along with their families, friends and many donors really enjoy participating in the Rock-A-Thon. This year you can look forward to rocking on your rocking chairs, listening to the Niagara Fiddler and participating in a variety of activities.

Some people will choose to simply make a donation, others will choose to make a donation and participate in the Rock-A-Thon. Whatever you decide to do; be assured that we sincerely appreciate all your help and encouragement.

Fonds Foyer Richelieu is currently organizing its annual golf tournament which will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course – 3290 Ninth St., St. Catharines, ON, L2R 6P7.

Last year, thanks to the participation of all the players and our sponsors, the Foyer Richelieu Welland realized a profit of $50,000. So far, these tournaments have allowed us to raise $175,000 over the last five years.

This money has allowed us to purchase equipment for the Foyer and to get closer to the $5 million mark for our fundraising campaign for the construction of a new long-term care home (LTC).

Last year, we have adapted and reinvented ourselves. We have several new features awaiting you for our annual golf tournament. Register quickly as the number of golfers is limited to 100.

Fonds Foyer Richelieu is currently organizing its annual golf tournament which will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course – 3290 Ninth St., St. Catharines, ON, L2R 6P7.

Thanks to the golfers and sponsors, the Fonds Foyer Richelieu Welland netted $40,000 last year. These dollars went toward the purchase of medical equipment for the residents and our Capital Campaign, which has surpassed the $3 million mark, toward the construction of a new long-term care (LTC) home.

This year we are facing an added challenge due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has shed light on the very precarious situation of LTC homes, and we cannot overlook the urgency of building the new Foyer Richelieu. It is imperative that we move forward quickly with this project, and thus allow for an increase in the number of Francophone LTC beds available for vulnerable people in the community.
