President’s Message
The Fonds Foyer Richelieu Welland foundation was established in 1997. Its main objective is to raise funds to finance projects which contribute to the well-being of the residents of Foyer Richelieu Welland.
Most of the monies collected are derived from special events such as Medicine Update, golf tournaments, rockathons and penny sales as well as from donations by individuals, organizations, various companies or from bequests left by deceased residents.
Since its inception, our foundation has raised over four million dollars. These funds make it possible to purchase all sorts of equipment that help to provide greater comfort and security to our residents. Some of this equipment includes lifts, automated beds, specialized bathtubs, automated security doors, a pager system as well as adjustable tables for the dining rooms, computerized ovens and other specialized appliances for the kitchen.
We sincerely thank all those who, by their donations to our foundation, support Foyer Richelieu Welland’s mission to offer our seniors the highest quality of care in a secure environment.
