Recreational Services
A variety of recreation activities are held within Foyer Richelieu Welland to facilitate resident enjoyment of sports, crafts, social games, music, and intellectual pursuits. Participation in these activities is highly recommended, although not mandatory. Information about times and places can be found on the monthly activity calendar. Every resident is welcome at these activities as a participant or a spectator. Information about special events, entertainment and outings are held regularly and are also posted.
The monthly activity calendar, listing all the activities is displayed on the Recreation board, in the resident’s room if desired and are sent to families by email from Reception.
Pastoral Services
Religious activities are conducted by Pastors of the “Sacré-Cœur” Parish. Mass takes place at 11:00 AM in the Chapel daily.
The chapel is open to people of all religions. Residents whose religious beliefs differ from the Catholic religion are free to meet with their religious leader at their needs.
The Remembrance Ceremony is held annually in the month of November to remember the residents that have passed away throughout the year.
